After years of working as a postpartum Doula, I developed a keen interest in infant sleep and in making sure everyone in the family is as rested as possible. I have a huge amount of hands-on experience with gentle sleep training and am qualified as an infant sleep consultant.

All babies can learn how to sleep. However, sleep is a developmental milestone which babies will reach at different rates. Some babies require more help, as sleep challenging for them. I understand how exhausting and worrying this can be for new parents but please be assured, you don’t have to struggle through this alone. Babies are hardwired to connect and learning to sleep independently when developmentally ready is a journey of learning to be safe and content in their own space.

I offer in-person and virtual sleep training consultations for babies 4-18 months old. For expecting parents, I offer prenatal and newborn sleep consultations, also available in-person and online.

Let’s speak and decide what works for you.

All of my support services are available virtually, as private video calls. We can meet online in the privacy and comfort of home and at a time that suits you. While I love the connection of in-person time with babies and families, I know that this isn’t possible for everyone. If you live outside Devon, or if you would simply prefer to connect virtually, please get in touch and I will arrange a bespoke package to suit you.

All families deserve support postpartum, so that mothers’ bodies can recover from birth and so they can be as present as possible for each other and for their new child. Helping new parents learn to care for themselves and their baby is an important step in building a safe and emotionally healthy environment for everyone in the family. Sometimes caring for a newborn feels instinctual and other times it feels overwhelming and you need some gentle guidance. There is no one right way to do things. Rather than instruct, I will gently guide you, helping you figure out a way to care for your baby and yourself that feels right for you.

I am a certified postpartum doula and infant sleep consultant and have a particular interest in making sure everyone in the family is as rested as possible. I also have extensive experience with lactation support and bottle-feeding babies.

As a postpartum doula I will facilitate bonding between you and your baby. Welcoming a new baby into the world is a beautiful and magical event. It also presents challenges such as breastfeeding, bottle feeding, learning to read your babies cues, dealing with partners going back to work, dealing with difficult family members, learning to sooth your baby and making sure everyone in the family is as rested and nurtured as possible.

The beginning of life looks so different for each baby. Some babies have high needs to begin with, because being in this totally new world can feel extrememly overwhelming for them as their brains are developing rapidly, but I believe they all have the capacity to get to a peaceful place; with the right support and guidance this journey can feel very different.

Understanding how unique each family is, I will meet you where you are and help you adjust to life postpartum, anticipating your needs and respecting your choices, offering advice when asked and helping you troubleshoot challenges. With an understanding of the individuality of all babies and families, I will get to know you and your baby, learning their preferences as I go and making sure they feel comfortable and safe in my care.

I will nurture your confidence in caring for your baby and help you understand your baby by normalizing their behavior as they develop over time.
